Install cPanel/WHM on CentOS Server

Assalamualaikum,,Udah pada tau kan apa itu cPanel?? cPanel merupakan salah satu control panel Komersial yang paling populer untuk penyedia web hosting, dengan adanya cPanel dan Web Host Manager, membuat pengelolaan web hosting menjadi lebih mudah. Google aja yah,, ribet amat mo jelasinnya :3 langsung aja ke proses instalasinya

Installation Prerequisites

Sebelum melakukan instalasi cPanel, ada hal yang perlu dipersiapkan dalam proses instalasi cpanel :

• Fresh VPS or dedicated CentOS 6.5 server.
• Minimum of 384MB RAM.
• Minimum 20GB of free disk space
• cPanel license.

Installation of cPanel in CentOS

Step 1 : Update CentOS to latest version

# yum -y update

Step 2 : Downloading cPanel installer

# cd /home
# wget -N http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/latest

Step 3 : Installing cPanel

# sh latest

Proses ini memakan waktu 1-5 jam,, jadi tinggal menunggu hingga proses instalasi cpanel selesai.

Nah kalo sudah selesai, tinggal akses WHM melalui browser

http://IP-Server:2087

Tampilan WHM akan terlihat seperti gambar dibawah, silahkan login dengan user dan password root

“Step 1 : Agrrement” Klik “I Agree?/Go to Step 2” untuk melanjutkan.

“Step 2 : Setup Networking” Isi sesuai keperluan,, lalu klik “Save & Go to Step 3″

“Step 3 : Setup IP Adresses” tidak ada yg perlu dirubah, klik “Go to Step 4″

“Step 4 : Name Server” silahkan lakukan konfigurasi seperti DNS server dan Nameserver yg digunakan,

“Step 5 : Service” untuk FTP configuration, pilih Pure-FTPD. untuk mail server pilih Dovecot, dan untuk cPHulk silahkan konfigurasi sesuai gambar.

“Step 6 : Setup Quotas” pilh yg atas, lalu klik “Finish Setup Wizard”

Nah udah selesai deh,, berikut penampakan WHM nya 

Configration files

• Apache configuration file: /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
• Exim mail server conf file:/etc/exim.conf
• Named conf file : /etc/named.conf
• ProFTP and Pureftpd conf file :/etc/proftpd.conf and /etc/pure-ftpd.conf
• Cpanel user file: /var/cpanel/users/username
• Cpanel configuration file (Tweak settings) : /var/cpanel/cpanel.config
• Networking configuration file: /etc/sysconfig/network
• Addons, parked and subdomain information: /etc/userdomains
• Cpanel update config file: /etc/cpupdate.conf
• Clamav conf file: /etc/clamav.conf
• Mysql configuration file: /etc/my.cnf
• PHP ini conf file : /usr/local/lib/php.ini
